FOSTER/ADOPT #pitbullflowerpower Ivy from Redemption Rescues (@hemiverse)! This gorgeous 1.5 year old pup is about to leave her training camp in just a few days, and now has all the confidence she needs and is ready to start her new life! Prior to her rescue this past July Ivy only knew the confines of a small and dirty backyard where she lived day in and day out. When she became pregnant (her owner suspected someone brought in a male while she was in heat and they weren't home) and sadly gave birth there, her owners realized they couldn't care for the family. One of her puppy got stolen from their backyard and they knew bad-intentioned people were lurking around. So in an act of kindness, they agreed to surrender her and her puppies to this rescue group. Despite being a pup herself Ivy took such loving care of her babies. When the puppies got older and started to play, Ivy would join right in. All of her babies have been adopted and Ivy is still waiting. 💔 Ivy is houstrained, crate trained, though she doesn't need to be crated at all. She loves nothing more than curling up on the couch with her humans or relaxing with a peanut butter Kong. Ivy absolutely adores children of all ages including babies. She loves to be social with other doggies, but will do best in a home where she is the only dog and can lap up all of the attention for herself. Please consider opening your heart and home to Ivy, one of the sweetest dogs you will ever meet.
